ABOUT
The High Valley Half is a gorgeous half marathon that starts in Cove, OR and ends in Union . You would be hard pressed to find a run with such beautiful views! Runners will start at Dollar's Corner in Cove and head out of town towards Union. After about 1/2 a mile runners will take a left on the gravel road High Valley and follow it to the finish at the Eastern Oregon Stockshow grounds in Union. At mile 2, runners will start a scenic yet mentally challenging hill that continues until mile 4 with 660' elevation gain and up to a 14% grade. On your way down the other side, Little Creek will run parallel with the road.
Details
Packet pick up Friday the day before from 5-6pm at Dollars Corner, Cove. Same day registration starts at 6am
Race starts at 7am (no early starts, sorry)
Startline restroom in laundry mat
Finish line restrooms, follow signs.
Aid stations with water at miles 4.6. 7.7, and 10.90. (No cups provided)
No shuttle for this race and it is a point to point. You will need someone to pick you up.
Clothes left at the start will be available to pick up out of an unattended pile until the completion of the race back at the start line.
Clothes left on course will be donated.
Shirts come with registration until May 31, 2024
